- Catfishing or other deceptive practices
Dangerous & Illegal Activities
- Bringing weapons, drugs, or illegal substances to events
- Organising activities that violate local laws
- Putting others at risk or ignoring safety guidelines
Respecting Privacy & Intellectual Property
- Sharing others' personal info or private conversations without permission

- Scraping data or misusing Harley's technology

Plan Great Events
- • Provide accurate, complete event information
- • Set realistic capacity limits and skill requirements
- • Consider accessibility and inclusion in all planning
- • Have backup plans (weather, venue issues, etc.)
- • Get necessary permits, insurance, and permissions
- • Be clear about costs, equipment needs, and what to expect
Communicate Like a Pro
- • Send timely updates about any changes
- • Share clear joining instructions and location details
- • Include safety information and emergency contacts
- • Follow up after events for feedback and improvements
- • Keep it professional but friendly
⚠️ Important for Hosts: As an event host, you're responsible for your events and groups—including making sure they're safe, legal, and properly managed. You may need insurance depending on your activity type, and you're liable for any issues that arise. By creating events, you agree to protect Harley from any claims related to your activities. Reporting & Enforcement
How to Report Issues
In an Emergency
Call 000 immediately (112 in EU, 911 in US, 999 in UK)
Harley is not an emergency service. If you're in danger, witnessing a crime, or someone needs urgent help—call emergency services first. You can notify us afterward for platform action.
For Platform Issues
Report community guideline violations so we can take action:
- 1. In-app: Profile → Help & Support → submit a report case
- 2. Email: Send details to safety@harleymeets.com
What to include:
- • What happened and when
- • Username(s) or profiles involved
- • Screenshots (if safe to capture)
- • Any immediate safety concerns
Response time: We review reports within 24-48 hours for most issues, or within a few hours for serious violations.
What Happens When Rules Are Broken
We focus on education first, but we'll take action when needed:

A heads up about what needs to change
Content Removal
Deleting posts or messages that violate guidelines
Feature Restrictions
Temporarily limiting platform access
Temporary Suspension
Account suspension (7-90 days)
Permanent Ban
Complete removal from Harley
Legal Cooperation
Working with law enforcement when required

- • We don't provide emergency response or real-time safety assistance
- • We can't guarantee accuracy of event details or member identities
- • We're not liable for injuries, incidents, or disputes between members
- • We don't guarantee we'll catch every guideline violation
What we CAN do:
- • Remove harmful content and ban bad actors from the platform
- • Investigate reported violations and take platform action
- • Improve safety features and guidelines based on feedback
- • Cooperate with law enforcement when required by law
Your Responsibility
You Agree To:
- • Use the platform safely and legally
- • Respect other members and their rights
- • Take responsibility for your own safety
- • Protect Harley from claims related to your activities (especially if you're a host)
- • Understand that you use the platform at your own risk
Bottom line: Your safety is your responsibility. We provide tools to connect people, but you're responsible for making smart choices about who you meet and what events you attend.
