Is it really free for life?
Yes. As a Founding Host, your account stays on Captain tier with no fee, no renewal, and no expiry — for as long as Harley exists. We put it in writing when you sign up.
Is this the same 10 spots as the badminton program?
No — this is its own round. 10 spots for Melbourne pickleball organisers, counted separately. If you run badminton instead, that program has its own page and its own 10 spots.
What if I'm not in Melbourne, or I don't run pickleball?
This round is for Melbourne pickleball organisers. If you run something else somewhere else, still apply: we may open the program more broadly soon, and we'd rather know who you are now than miss you later.
What does the founder onboarding actually involve?
A real call (or in person, if you're in Melbourne), help setting up your club page, building your first open play session, sorting your branding, and getting your first players through the door — plus a direct line you can use anytime.
What's the catch?
We want your feedback. You'll be the first to try features, and we'll bug you for thoughts. That's it — no equity, no exclusivity, no promote-us clause.
What happens once the 10 spots are gone?
They're gone. The Founding Host title is a one-time thing. We may run different programs later, but they won't be this.
What if my club doesn't end up meeting the conditions after I set it up?
Then we'll have to pass the founding spot on to someone else who can. But you won't walk away empty-handed — you'll still keep a full year of free Captain access on us.
Can I leave whenever I want?
Of course. There's no contract — walk away anytime. But the spot doesn't come back, and you'll lose the lifetime free Captain access that came with it. You'll still keep a full year of free Captain access on us, though.
