About this event
Want to learn pickleball the right way from the start?
If you’re completely new to pickleball, this is a great place to begin. I’ll walk you through the basics including grip, positioning, and the key shots used in the game.
If you’ve played a little before, this session is also a great opportunity to refine your technique, improve consistency, and develop better habits through structured drills and practice.
My goal for this session is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can learn, practice, and build confidence on the court.
✨ Guided coaching and technique-focused drills
✨ Practice rallies and light games to apply what you learn
✨ Beginner-friendly — no experience required
✨ Paddles and balls provided (just bring non-marking shoes and a drink)
Come solo or bring a friend - everyone is welcome.
Please be kind and respectful to everyone on the court.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Ground rules
At Pickle Presence, we aim to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy the game and improve together.
1. Be Respectful
Treat all players with kindness and respect.
We are a judgment-free community where beginners and experienced players are equally welcome.
2. Good Sportsmanship
Celebrate good rallies, encourage others, and keep the atmosphere positive.
Remember: we’re here to enjoy the game together.
3. Court Rotation
To keep games fair and social:
• Games are typically played to 11 points (win by 2)
• Players rotate courts after games
• Please allow everyone a chance to play
Event organisers may adjust rotations or have timed games depending on attendance.
4. Beginner Friendly Environment
If you are a more experienced player:
• Be patient with beginners
• Offer encouragement rather than criticism
• Help keep the environment supportive
5. Safety First
• Please warm up before playing
• Be mindful of others when moving around courts
• Call “ball” if a stray ball enters the court
6. Respect Court Time
Arrive on time where possible so sessions run smoothly.
If you need to leave early, just let the organiser know.
7. Equipment
• Paddles are available for beginners if needed
• Please take care of shared equipment
8. Most Important Rule
Have fun and enjoy the moment.
Pickle Presence is about playing with presence, improving your game, and building community.
